We do one trade. Everything below is what that buys you and where the limits are.
We are a roofing company and nothing else.
Plenty of outfits that put on roofs also do siding, windows, gutters, kitchens and whatever the storm brought in that season. That is a reasonable business and it is not ours. We replace roofs, we repair roofs, and we are on a roof most days of the week, which is the only way a crew stays fast at the parts that are easy to get wrong.
That narrowness shows up in the work in one specific way. The flashing details take longer than the field does and they are where the leaks start, so a crew that only does this has already solved your chimney twice this month.

What we will not do

Quote a roof we have not walked
A number from the ground or from satellite imagery is a guess, and the difference between the guess and the job is a conversation on your driveway on day two.
Roof over an existing layer
A second layer hides the deck, adds weight, runs hotter and voids most manufacturer warranties. It is legal in some cases. We still will not do it.
Reuse flashing
Old flashing under a new covering is where almost every leak we get called out to actually started. It comes off with the shingles.
Negotiate your insurance claim
We are roofers, not public adjusters, and in Florida that distinction is a licensing matter. We document the damage, we meet your adjuster, and we put the scope in writing. The claim is between you and your carrier.
How a job runs
Five steps, and you know which one you are on.
- Step 1
Inspection
We get on the roof before we quote it.
No drone flyover, no satellite measurement, no number over the phone. Someone walks the slopes, opens the attic, and photographs what they find. You get the report whether or not you hire us.
- Step 2
Scope
One estimate, itemised, with the exclusions written down.
Squares, underlayment class, flashing, decking allowance, permit, disposal. The sheathing allowance is the line most estimates leave off, and it is the line that turns into a change order on day two, so ours states a per-sheet price up front.
- Step 3
Permit
Product approvals and the permit go in before the material does.
Every component we install carries a Florida product approval number, and those numbers go on the permit application. We schedule the dry-in inspection with the tear-off, so the deck is never sitting open waiting on an inspector.
- Step 4
Install
One crew, start to finish, and the same lead every day.
You get the lead's phone number on day one. Magnet sweep of the drive and the beds every evening, dumpster on plywood, and no material stacked against the house overnight.
- Step 5
Warranty
The paperwork lands before we invoice the balance.
Final inspection card, the manufacturer warranty registered in your name, our workmanship warranty, and the photo record of the deck before it was covered. That last one matters when you sell the house.

Three roofers told me the ceiling stain was a pipe boot. Vane & Ridge opened the attic, found the chimney counter-flashing had never been let into the mortar joint, and showed me the photograph before they quoted anything.
