Islands are built,not ordered.
Anything we set in the ground is designed, quoted and contracted separately from anything that ships in a crate. That is a legal line, not a sales one, and this page is what sits on the other side of it.
Why it is separate
One order cannot hold both.
California Business and Professions Code §7159.5 caps the down payment on a home improvement contract at the lesser of $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, and the Contractors State License Board states there is no exception for special-order materials.
So the moment one order contains installation, that cap binds the entire contract price including the appliances. Putting a grill and its installation on the same invoice does not make the paperwork simpler; it changes what the whole invoice is allowed to collect.
Which is why there is no “add installation” checkbox anywhere in the shop, no install line item and no combined total. It is enforced by how the software is built, not by a policy somebody has to remember.
Gas connection is to an existing, code-compliant stub. New gas line work requires a licensed plumber, a permit and an inspection in most jurisdictions, and is excluded from an appliance installation.
